After setting up my etsy shop (tanyamac.etsy.com). I decided to join the European Street Team (EST). Not only are they a really supportive and friendly bunch but they also organise a weekly challenge for its members. This weeks theme is 'Summer', hosted by Nanouke who won last weeks challenge - congratulations Nanouke!
So here is a new piece that I'm working on with this challenge in mind - It's called 'Pop'. Its a 12"x 9" canvas which has been collaged using a variety of stripped scrap material. The background is a midnight teal with a shimmery finish. The petals have been individually made, using brightly coloured tissue papers and gloss glaze. I've still got a bit of work to do before its ready :)

this looks wonderful so far. great use of complimentary colors! the flower really pops!
It certainly does "pop"! The colours are awesome, so vibrant.
So so pretty colors together. This looks really very lovely!
I hope you finish it before the deadline, it's looking really pretty!
