Repurpose, Reuse, Recycle - Bubble Mailers

I try to avoid buying brand new bubble mailers (i.e Jiffy bags) as much as I can and recycle the old ones instead. They work every bit as well, just as secure too and all you need is some magazine pages, a sewing machine and some address labels (I made my own from waste paper). I just think its a sin to chuck away stuff that can easily be reused and people seem to love the alternative packaging - this parcel is for a lovely bride to be! ♥

N.B
I picked up that super gorgeous little pencil case at the Crafty Market last weekend - it was made by Sarah from Red Possum! The next Crafty market takes place next weekend on Sunday 16th, from 12 - 5.30 in Shebeen Chic, South Great Georges Street, Dublin.

Oh good idea, I keep them too, me being the good Cavan woman and all :) But I never thought of putting some nice images on them, I'll try that next time. Thanks for sharing :)

That's a lovely idea. I try to recycle them but hadn't thought of the idea of re-covering them with something pretty! Brilliant :)

Its dead easy to do Beth - you can just tape the magazine page on top if you like. I've had some lovely feedback from customers who have raved more about the packaging than the item they bought! :)

Oh that's a big move, from the sleepy little village to London, have you lived there before? Oh I'm such a home bird I couldn't leave the countryside now, I'm a country girl through and through. I'm afraid I don't know many car boots sales but there is one every Saturday in Longford Town and there is also one in Trim on May 24th I think.
