Addicted already! ;)

Remember this??? Well my first attempt at patchwork became this!

I padded it with quilt batting and attached it to a canvas frame to add some sunshine to the wee one's nursery area...

I'm going patchwork mad!!! Look! I've even quilted my t-shirt! So today, guess what? I'm clacking away again! This time I'm going to make an actual usable quilt... here's what I've done so far!

...its by no means perfect but I'm loving the whole process of trying something new! Many of the fabrics I've used in projects so far have been donations from friends and family so it makes them even more special to me! ;D

So whats new with you???

You just have know idea of how much you have inspired me, today. I came upon, which is now in my posession, 1000's of handcut vintage quilting sthat my mother in law cut years ago.

The material, print, and textures are fabulous beyond words!

I have been trying to figure out what do with with them that is different that just simply making a quilt.

You sure got my crazy mind going with new ideas. Thank you so very much. Your work is so fun and interesting to view.

I love reading your blog!!!

Hi Tanya, love your style and sense of fun colours. Wish I could be as brave. My fav colours of the moment are lime green and pink - but subtle and nothing too overpowering. I am a new crafter and blogger at
(annabelleserendipity.blogspot.com) looking for inspiration so thanks for letting me visit your space.

Hello,

Adorable stuff in this nursery!!! I see you are talented and love to create so I thought I might join your blog and maybe you would like to do the same at decolourant.blogspot.com
Kandi Corp.'s deColourant removes and replaces the dye from natural dyed fabrics like wool, cotton, hemp, silk. It is easy and fun to use. You can use it in combination with stamps, stencils, free hand, etc. It gives off a slight citrus smell. Info can be read at www.harbor-sales.com and ordering done at www.i-kandi.com. Hope to hear from you soon and love your stuff!
